While there are so many activities to do on our 150-acre campus, we expand horizons and get out in the world. We regularly find ways to keep kids engaged and find ways to see the world as something more than a screen. We take advantage of everything Montana has to offer, but you might also find us on a trip to a ballpark in Spokane, Washington, at the cinemas in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho or Silverwood just to name a few.

Never has a place so remote had so much to offer nearby though. We partner with Western Pleasure Guest Ranch for equine-assisted trips and horseback riding. Working with animals helps them process feelings and develop socially, cognitively, and behaviorally. It is also a chance for service work so teens begin to see themselves as valuable and contributors in the world.

In the winter, we go skiing on a weekly basis, providing season passes at the world-renowned Schweitzer Mountain Resort in Sandpoint, Idaho. Many clients are new to skiing and snowboarding and we provide instruction as needed. Kids attending a treatment program sometimes need a break and many of our clients love the sense of personal space and freedom going down the mountain can provide.
