KAR House is a small, 12 beds, co-ed program that provides a modified Therapeutic Community modality of therapy, and services for co-occurring disorders.

Ketchikan Pregnant Women and Women with Children is an organizatoin for women who are pregnant and women with children who are experiencing substance use addiction issues and are assessed at an ASAM II.1 level are treated through the outpatient substance use program. Referrals to the program come from the Office of Children’s Services, Women in Safe Housing, Ketchikan Indian Community, and the Ketchikan Public Health Department. Service is approximately three months followed by aftercare services.

Gateway Mental Health Services serves as a full-service community mental health service for the rural, southeastern section of the State of Alaska. General services include: adult and couples services, individual and group therapy, and rehabilitation services. Special programs include services for children with severe emotional disabilities who receive full family services including in-school and wrap around services. Also provided are community support programs for seriously mentally ill adults including a drop-in day-treatment program.
