Sending your toon to a rehab program out of state offers a plethora of benefits to their overall health including the healing power of the environment that they are in, the ability to build new friendships and relationships with staff and peers based on common goals, and an opportunity to focus solely on their recovery and treatment plan without the distractions and triggers of home. From our experience, we would suggest an adolescent treatment center that offers a minimum stay of 3-6 months or more. The miracles we see are real and length of stay absolutely matters when it comes to your teen’s recovery.
