Adjustment disorders can be treated at a therapeutic boarding school. Our approach allows for the right professionals to be mixed with the right environment to create a program that allows teens who struggle with an adjustment disorder to learn to cope with the disorder and live a stable and normal life. This disorder typically occurs in response in a common stressor. These disorders are characterized by the inability of the person to function as usual or if the person’s reaction to the stressor is excessive.
