Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
This disorder is characterized by obsessions of compulsions that consume more than one hour of a persons day or cause distress to the person who is engaging in the obsessions and/or compulsions. Obsessions are defined as thoughts, impulses or images that continue to recur. Compulsions are defined as repetitive behaviors that are engaged in with the intent of reducing anxiety and/or distress.**Note: This page is meant for informational purposes only.
